Your Priorities:

Each year staff develops an annual budget for review by the STA Governing Board. The budget reflects the anticipated revenue and expenditures Sacramento Transportation Authority (STA) anticipates in the upcoming fiscal year. The budget also includes a five-year projection of expenditures on capital projects also called the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The budget document reflects the priorities of STA and its partner agencies to help meet the transportation needs of the communities within Sacramento County.
